Bye Junior

Sorry that I came home 4 days later realising that you left the world earlier.

Sorry that you could not accompany us during chinese new year (2010)

Sorry that you were left alone outside , shivering with cold in the drains , waiting for us to be rescued.
I WILL ALWAYS MISS U!

A passionate lazy blogger

Yup.

No need introduction for that.  FYI , I have just recovered from flu and suddenly I feel I have unleashed a new life in me.

So I blog to mark this event down.

During the end of the year , when the weather gets cold , my body somehow will know. I will start to get colds , flu , all sorts of sinus problems you can think of.  When comes to falling sick , I think I take care of my body well . Judging from the MCs I have for the past 2 years , I think I hit less than 5. (Got a few due to red eye)

Now I am back in my hometown , everything seems to be normal now. After intensive traveling to and fro for work and hikes , I have made friends with nature and people around me.  And of course learn a lot from the seniors I have met.

And I am lazy. Heh Heh. So glad that I still blog. But not as often.

It's not a half a yearly post

If you count back , my last post is in around January.

I don't think people actually visit my blog. Coz I don't write down things everyday. 90% of my brain is filled up with work and shit thoughts. Yah . Shit thoughts.

Ok , some updates. Thanks to my slight little cough that I have gotten , suddenly I feel like penning down some things I have picked up along my hectic pace of life.

Pat on my shoulder. I acutally survived my first year of my job. I know nuts about banking and yet being able to sit down in the middle of work is really rewarding. Currently I am tasked to look after credit card in a bank in MY.

I love the place I am working and the places I have been so far. I actually sneaked into Thailand with a little partner in crime twice. This time round , I am not alone travelling in Bangkok. I get to mingle around with some locals

Yup .Meet Pek and Ying. My thai 'escorts' on my latest trip. I still have many others not mentioned. Will provide pictures next time.

Malaysia or rather KL now is like a second home now. No plans to move in yet. But have considered it another place to venture other new businesses in.

I have in fact spent too much time in Malaysia that everytime when I come back to singapore , I won't feel so sick walking round Orchard road , City Hall , Raffles Place like I always used to.

I will continue my next half of the journey unplanned as usual. Hopefully with the hands of some divine help .

Never never!!

I think I must pen it down to remind me.

Never let technology take over your life!!

It is a common scene I realise in trains , walkways , buses. People all around me are too busy fidgeting with gadgets. You name it ipod , handphones , pdas , gps and the list goes on..

You can see how technology demands attention from people and it really does.

Was doing some work in the cafe in the  library when I saw the following scene.

A man , believes to be in his mid twenties , walks into the cafe area. Looks shabbily dressed and with ipod plugged into his ears.

Note : Ipod plugged into his ears.

He orders food still with the ipod plugged into his ears . Listening and ordering at the same time.

While he eats , he pauses to choose another song from his player and then continues. (He can't eat without music in his ears)

At the same time , he wants to know the song played from the background  of the cafe. Repeatedly he asks for the song and the waiter goes and dig for the song.

And at the same time he goes to the shelves and grab some books to browse and eat with his Ipod stuck to his ears

Note again : Ipod stuck into his ears.

So get what i mean?

Ok.. Back to work....

Seremban

Seremban is a town near KL also. It used to be a tin mining city.

Some photos of the town

The locals recommend us to check out their Lao Shu Fen

And their chicken rice. Got win award one de

Gunung Datuk , Rembau

Some updates from my latest climb at Gunung Datuk

Gunung Datuk is situated along a village town call Rembau

You will feel for kampung life when you stay in the city for too long. I was too caught up with the rubber tapping

And chickens!!

The trail starts from a river stream

And up all the way through the forest clearings

Group shots

To reach the peak , you have to cross the boulders. Big boulders!!

The rewards !! Nice aerial view .

And crazy antics

I reckon I will come back again.
