Cher

I managed to get Cher's album on a CD shop for 10 bucks. Titled "Living Proof" , its one of the albums that you catch Cher singing her hearts out with the likes of her most popular song in 1998 - "Believe". Its rare of me to buy CDs ( I choose to download or directly rip from the Net most of the time.) But I didn't even know she has this album. As of now , her latest album is this compilation I saw at HMV. I think it's "Best of Cher".

Cher , indeed, has proved to me that she can still sing. I like the songs "This is the song for the lonely" and "The Music's No Good Without You". Rather catchy tune and really sets you relaxing when listening when you are checking out some chill out songs.

Maybe it was "Believe" that caught my attention about Cher and her music/acting career. At 16 , she was trying to carve a career for herself after her school dropout. If anyone is interested, there is a life biography of Cher out in major book stores. Can't get enough of Cher.

By the way , she is already 60 years old and have recently completed her music tour in the U.S.

Have you ever

Working like mad these few days , I just thought of something worth pondering.

Try this.

While in the midst of your daily routine chores , be it rushing for work or rushing deadlines or busy studying for exams , freeze for a moment.

Have you ever try to look at something they you alway never paid attention to and try to appreciate it for a moment and then after this get back to your life again?

It could be anything .

Be the same old stranger you see when you go to work .

Or the old run-down provision shop that you passed by everyday and you seldom step into because of the fast pace of life that you cannot just stop and take a look.

Or even your friends and family members that you don't engage a conversation unlike the last time you used to when you were younger.

If you never have the time to do these things , when will you ever stop and pay attention to them? Is it only when

The same old stranger finally wave back to you and you wave back?

When the run-down provision shop have become a super-market ?

When your friends and family start to go away one by one?

Just give a second to start appreciate things. It's worth the effort.

Ok.. Back to work ........

Blue Teahouse In Ximen

Blue Teahouse In Ximen

If you ever feeling blue, check out this hip blue teahouse at Ximen Ding.
It was a getaway from the busy cities on taipei and a good place to indulge yourself with.

From the outside, this teahouse may look like a typical pub in Singapore. But instead its a haven for teenagers to swing around with friends after school hours.

Over here , they don't serve alcoholics but only tea.

No blue movies showing though..... :p

Taipei Taipei

I want a piece of it

By the time you see this post , I have came back to Singapore for a week. No time to update my blogs because of the hectic work after my touchdown.

Still recovering from the Taipei syndrome , I just feel the difference in life here and there. Life in Taipei is simple over there. People are friendlier. (Yes I can feel it).

I got myself a piece of the sky while on a mountain trail in YangMingShan , Taipei. Can't bring it back so I captured the very best moment on my camera.

More Taipei tales to come ......
