Any last confessions to make before the year end?

Its the last day today.

And i do have confessions to make.

I have a problem . When comes to buying bread , I want the bread to be the freshest and hottest.

So what did i do? I will use my fingers to feel the bread to see whether they are hot enough . Of course I do that secretly. Its just like those housewives who "feel" their fruits / vegetables when they go to the market.

So don't be surprised to see fingerprints on bread . I won't mention which bread shop.

Another confession is my love for wearing wind breakers / jackets . I will always wear them and turn on the air con at the same time. With all the "green" campaign going on , I should have turned off the air con and taken off the overalls. But it has become an habit to me.

At least I am honest. Its not those closet style confession but just some really mindless bad habits that I should not have get used to it.


Well , anyway , say Hello to 2008 in a few hours time.

When 2007 is nearing

Ending 2007 , I have been busying packing myself to go for short trips and getaways , attending year end friends party and christmas gatherings.

But in my mind , I ponder what's up with 2008.

When Bud told me he is getting engaged in January 2008 a few days back , I was calm . But in my mind , I wonder what made him decide on that. And to add up , He even have gone away to see parents , get engagement ring and prepare all the wedding necessities.

Back in the good old days , when we are still students , we used to lament on school work and stress over work .

Over at work , he used to complain a lot about work with me.

But surprisingly , the topic we always seldom talk is marriage and settling down. It seems to be a little privacy that Bud always need. Or maybe he didn't want to talk about this coz he don't want me to feel bad or left out.

But i'm glad that things turn out well for him. Its good that Bud did a good job in building this relationship this year. I try to meet up with him less so that he can spend more time on this. Glad he is doing well.

This , of course , is a good news and good Christmas gift I have so far. I got a lot of crap Christmas gifts this year . Imagine receiving a box of Oreo cookies all in the name of Santa.

Oh, as for me , I will nurse back my health and fitness first to prepare for marathons next year. And of course may do drastic moves to my career maybe. Cross my fingers first

I was down with a leg infection

Yeah. My leg was infected with a virus two weeks ago.

FYI , this virus is known as a Steph virus. It infects any open wounds and attack up into your body , weakening your muscles and eventually your leg gets amputated.

Wasn't in the mood to do anything and worse still I cannot even run.

Now I'm still in the midst of recovery.

So this is how I end up counting down to Christmas
