Working in the Army

Yeah I moved.

This time round to Boon Lay. At Pasir Lebar camp. That means I get up very early every day. I am not against working far distance but as long as the journey is smooth sailing , I am fine.

Smooth sailing includes

1) Waking Up at 515 am
2) Breakfast must be complement with cheese and a hot cup of rice tea
3) Catch the 52 bus by 6
4) The bus trip must be 35 minutes
5) Able to sleep well on the bus
6) Catch the free shuttle bus on time

Demanding? Perhaps.

Working as a civilain is a challenge in the camp. People may mistook you for a NSF. I do agree coz i got this NSF look. Got stopped by officers and majors many times to demand me to walk properly and cut my hair until I showed them my ic.

But one thing i envy is my group of analysts who are in fact retired majors . They are now civilians in my coy. But the work they are doing are really tiring. Like carrying stores , preparing equipments. For me, I just sit and the office and code.

Coding can be tiring too. So I guess its fair and square.
